During a two-hour visit, I can help the client with many things, e.g., watering flowers, washing dishes, folding laundry, brushing teeth, cutting nails, and taking out the trash.
One of the most memorable moments of the visits have been a visible change in the elderly person's mood. She never used to smiled during the first visits, so it has been wonderful to notice her increased smiling!

Gubbe helpers work in an employment relationship and receive a salary in accordance with the Private Social Sector Collective Agreement (SOSTES).

The Gubbe community is made up of a bunch of awesome people. The community is formed locally and throughout Finland. In addition, we offer a variety of trainings for the community as well as events to which every Gubbe is welcome.
The need for help is on average 2-4 h/week. Depending on the location, more hours are available. You can influence working hours yourself - within the framework of the customer's wishes.

All Gubbe helpers work in an employment relationship—this ensures suitability for work, as well as continuity and quality of service.
